The instrument offers an advanced display mode allowing the user to also display one or two (1 to 32) character messages. Additional to the messages, the user may select an alert-event to occur when the temperature is within a band. The change-over relay can be used together with the messaging and alert to provide switching at user-set switch points. In addition to this, on board datalogging is also available.
FEATURE HIGHLIGHTS
RELAY SWITCHING
The instrument is equipped with a volt-free changeover type relay. The user may select one of seven
actions, including deviation operation, with fully adjustable set-point and hysteresis. The relay may be
turned off if not required to extend battery life. An option is provided to trigger a display alert-event
when the relay contact is on. The relay can optionally be used to indicate a low battery condition.
DATA LOGGING FUNCTION
The digital temperature gauge also provides a powerful data logging function. The log points can be set up to 5000 points, each point is time and date stamped together with temperature and relay state information.
The log rate can be selected in steps. The start of log can be delayed if required. Either fixed or rolling logs
may be performed. Two methods of reading the log are available. USB interfaced software reads the log and allows the user
to save to a text file for export to other programs. The NFC android interface allows data transfer to
compatible android phones or tablets by using the downloadable App. The data can be graphed and
forwarded by email, Bluetooth etc. The NFC interface is also capable of starting a new log with different
log period and modes.
BATTERY POWERED
The instrument is powered by a single AA 3.6 V lithium battery. The battery life is dependent on the
number of active features such as the relay contact and alert LED. Battery life 1-year minimum (longer
depending on options selected)
REAL-TIME CLOCK (RTC)
Date and time can also be displayed with the input temperature. The RTC is also used to time stamp the
data logged points which will also give relay state.

Temperature gauge product features:
BATTERY POWERED
The instrument is powered by two AAA 1.5 V lithium batteries. The battery life is dependent on the number of active features such as configuration response time and logging. Battery life is up to 5-years plus (1-year minimum depending on options selected).
PUSH BUTTON CONFIGURATION (For intrinsically safe applications performed in non-hazardous areas only)
Simple single-button menu allows the user to configure the sensor type, temperature units, decimal place, update rate and apply a single point user-offset (range -10.0 to 10.0 units) to correct sensor errors.
NFC ANDROID CONFIGURATION FUNCTION (In safe area or with use of suitable intrinsically safe approved phone)
The NFC Android interface allows configuration of the DM650XTM via an intrinsically safe approved Android NFC device (or in safe area) using the downloadable NFC Link App.
NFC ANDROID DATA LOGGER FUNCTION (In safe area or with use of suitable intrinsically safe approved NFC device)
Up to 1500 temperature, time and date-stamped log points can be recorded onto the DM650XTM.

FEATURE HIGHLIGHTS
DUAL RELAYS
The instrument is equipped with 2 volt-free changeover-type relays, operating independently. The user
may select one of seven actions, including deviation, latched or non-latched operation, with fully
adjustable set-point and hysteresis. The Relays may be turned off if not required to extend battery life.
An option is provided to trigger an alert-event when a relay contact is on.
DATA LOGGING FUNCTION
The large digit temperature gauge also provides a powerful data logging function. The log points can be set up to 5000 points, each point is time and date-stamped together with temperature and relay state information.
The log rate is selectable in steps. The start of log can be delayed if required. Either fixed or rolling logs
may be performed. Two methods of reading the log are available. The USB configuration reads the log and allows the user to save to a text file for export to other programmes. While the NFC android interface allows data transfer
to compatible android phones or tablets by using the downloadable App, the data can be graphed and
forwarded by email, Bluetooth etc. The NFC interface is also capable of starting a new log with different
log period and modes.
BATTERY POWERED
The instrument is powered by a single 3.6 V lithium battery. The battery life is dependent on the number
of active features such as the relay contacts and alert LED. Battery life 1 year minimum (longer depending
on options selected)
REAL-TIME CLOCK
Date and time-stamped maximum, minimum and average temperature values, as well as relay on and
relay off data, is recorded and can be displayed along with the current time and date. The RTC is also
used to record the data logged points.

FEATURE HIGHLIGHTS
BATTERY POWERED
The instrument is powered by two AA batteries. The product is supplied with 1.5 V AA
alkaline batteries. This will give the DM650TM a minimum battery lifetime of over one year.
Used with Lithium Energizer L91batteries (not supplied), the battery lifetime can be
extended to over 5 years. Battery lifetime is dependent on the ambient operating
temperature range and the sample rate selected.
MAXIMUM and MINIMUM VALUE RECALL
The maximum and minimum temperature readings can be displayed by using the two front
panel buttons.
USER OFFSET
The user offset allows the temperature reading to be offset by +/- 10.0 temperature units.
This allows compensation for any temperature probe error
