The SEM203W potentiometer transmitter is an in-head transmitter that accepts potentiometer sensors and converts the sensor output over a configured range to a standard industrial (4 to 20) mA transmission signal. A simple push button operation allows the user to select the desired transmitter range manually, by setting the slide wire position and pressing button to store at both the (4 and 20) mA points.

PUSH BUTTON CONFIGURATION
A single push button and LED indicator allows the user configure transmitter range against a manually setinput condition. A red LED is included to help guide the user. The LED also operates as a sensor error indicator.

The SEM203TC is a cost effective in head transmitter that accepts thermocouple temperature sensors. It converts the thermocouple sensor output over a configured range, to a standard industrial (4 to 20) mA transmission signal.


A simple push button operation (meaning no PC is required) allows the user to select TC type, burnout direction and select fixed ranges and trim the (4 and 20) mA points. If required the desired range can be specified at the time of order, removing the need for user configuration.

 

The thermocouple temperature transmitter can be ordered with any of our temperature probes and connection heads. We can supply temperature probe assemblies with the temperature transmitter included.

 

If you already know the specification you require, we can configure the product for you at no extra cost. Otherwise the range is not specified then the transmitter will be shipped with the default range of (0 to 1000) °C type K

SEM206P

Programmable, suitable for Pt100 temperature probes

The SEM206P is a cost effective “smart” in head transmitter that accepts PT100 temperature sensors.

It converts sensor output over a configured range, to a standard industrial (4 to 20) mA transmission signal.


PC configuration allows the user to select range, units and burnout direction, without requiring calibration
equipment. Configuration is performed quickly using our USB port driven configurator by simply connecting two clips
to the SEM206P loop terminals and following the software instructions. Calibration set up may be saved as a file on
the PC for later use. If required, the desired range can be specified at the time of order, removing the need for user configuration.

 

The pt100 temperature transmitter can be ordered with any of our temperature probes and connection heads. We can supply temperature probe assemblies with the temperature transmitter included.

 

If you already know the specification you require, we can configure the product for you at no extra cost. Otherwise the range is not specified then the transmitter will be shipped with the default range of Pt100 0/100 deg C

The SEM203P is a push button configurable in-head temperature transmitter that accepts PT100 temperature sensors. It
converts the sensor output over a configured temperature range, to a standard industrial (4 to 20) mA transmission signal.
A simple push button operation (meaning a PC is not required for configuration), allows the user to not only select the desired range and burnout direction but also perform user trim at both (4 and 20) mA points.

SEM206PV

The SEM206PV is a cost-effective digital in-head transmitter that accepts Pt100 temperature sensors and converts
sensor output over a configured range to a standard industrial (0 to 10) V control signal. The output is linear to
temperature.


PC configuration allows the user to select Range and Burnout direction, without requiring calibration equipment.
Configuration is performed quickly using our USB port-driven configurator by simply connecting two clips to the
SEM206PV power terminals and following the software instructions. Calibration set up may be saved as a file on the
PC for later use.


If required, the desired range can be specified at the time of order, removing the need for user configuration. If the range
is not specified, then the transmitter will be shipped with the default range of (0 to 100) °C and upscale burnout.

Temperature transmitter with thermistor, Pt1000, Pt500 input and voltage output

The SEM206THV is an in-head transmitter that accepts thermistor temperature sensors as well as Pt1000 and Pt500
RTDs and converts the sensor output over a configured range to a standard industrial (0 to 10) Volt output signal.

 

The output signal is linear to temperature. PC configuration allows the user to select Range and Burnout direction, without requiring calibration equipment. Configuration is performed quickly using our USB port-driven configurator by simply connecting two clips to the SEM206THV power terminals and following the software
instructions.

 

Calibration set up may be saved as a file on the PC for later use. The output signal is linear to temperature. A variety of
thermistor types are available when using USB-SpeedLink configuration software. Please consult your supplier for
custom thermistors.

software. The sensor library can be added to as new sensors become available or are requested.
Thermistor sensors with a resistance value up to 100 K Ohms at 25 °C can normally be accommodated.

SEM206TH

Temperature transmitter suitable for Thermistor or Pt1000 sensors

The SEM206TH thermistor temperature transmitter accepts thermistor or Pt1000 temperature sensors and converts the sensor output over a configured range to a standard industrial (4 to 20) mA transmission signal. The output signal is linear to temperature. A variety of thermistor types are available when using USB SpeedLink configuration software. Please consult your supplier for custom thermistors. In addition to the PC configuration feature, simple push button operation allows the user to select the desired temperature range manually, by either simulating the thermistor temperature with a resistance box or setting the thermistor sensor to the required calibration point and pressing button to store at both 4 mA and 20 mA points.

The SEM310 HART (generic device) temperature transmitter is a universal device which accepts most commonly used Pt100, thermocouple, mV , potentiometer sensors. There is a version, (SEM310X) approved for use in hazardous areas and approved to ATEX, IECEx and UKEX.  It generates an industry standard (4 to 20) mA transmission signal over a programmed process range or can be used in HART multi drop mode. Compatible to HART 5, 6, or 7 the product can be easily programmed using our free USB Speedlink software and a standard USB lead (safe area version). SEM710TM

Temperature Transmitter With Display For Pt100, Thermocouple Sensors and 4 20mA Signals

The SEM710TM is a two wire (4 to 20) mA temperature transmitter with display, designed to accept RTD or
Thermocouple temperature sensors or a mA control signal.  Select your temperature probe here

 

The device displays the sensor temperature in °C or °F or mA process value on a 6-digit LCD display. Configuration is achieved by operating three-push buttons and navigating a menu structure. USB and contactless (NFC) interfaces are also provided for configuration and data logger function, with up to 5000 time-stamped logs at adjustable rates. The indicator also has an alert LED for signal error indication

 

Ideal for indicating the process value at the point of measurement.  The display can also be configured to read the loop signal in mA if required.

 

It is available in the following housings

  • SCH4 connection head in ABS plastic
  • SCH15 Stainless steel connection head.

 

DATA LOGGING FUNCTION (See Logger* entries, check website for latest Android version compatibility).

 

The SEM710TM temperature transmitter with display also provides a powerful data logging function. The log points can be set up to 5000 points. Each point is time and date-stamped. The SEM710TM can continue to record time-stamp data for over 4 hours on the loss of the loop supply and resumes logging when repowered. The log rate is selectable in
steps. The start of log can be delayed if required. Either fixed or rolling logs may be performed.

 

USB, NFC, AND PUSH-BUTTON CONFIGURATION
Configuration of the SEM710TM can be done in three ways:

  • On a Windows PC running Status Instruments’ free “USB-SpeedLink” software.
  • Using a suitable Android device running Status Instruments’ free NFC Configuration App “NFC-Link”.
  • By use of push buttons.

 

USER-LINEARISATION (mA)
The SEM710TM has a user linearization function.
When using a mA input, a 22-point user-linearisation tool is available for applications such as volume in a
non-linear tank or correcting known errors in any (4 to 20) mA signal.
This can also be used to apply calibration points for loop sensors that may drift over time

SEM320X/55

The SEM320X is a HART (generic device) field temperature transmitter that is HART 5,6,7 compatible, universal temperature transmitter with display. Alternatively, HART multidrop mode can be selected.

 

It is approved to UKEX, ATEX and IECEx and is housed in its own bespoke connection head, Exia or ExD approved. It is programmed using a communication lead (USBX Config) together with our free configuration USBSpeedlink software, (In the safe area). Standard HART features can also be programmed using HART communication.

 

The HART field temperature transmitter has a rotational five-digit display for the process value and a 5-digit display for messaging, in addition to a bar graph for % of mA output.
